TESTIMONIALS

WE WERE KNEE DEEP IN MUD!

Horses and heavy clay soil are not a good mix. Winter can be knee deep in claggy mud and summer can mean deep ruts that haven't recovered from the winter pounding the fields get.  Add in heavily used areas such as tracks to and from the gate to the stable yard and it can be treacherous and dangerous for both horse and owner.  Avocet came out and devised a series of tracks to my fields and put hardstanding around all gateways. We have thrown everything at this wet bog and put in a series of land drains also and it has been utter bliss for the last two years. I can go and get my horses in wearing crocs in winter if I want to! (It wasn't unheard of previously to lose a wellie in the deep mud). The guys were amazing to have on site, they were hardworking and polite, a joy to have around and left the whole site looking incredible. When they were working on precious grass areas after a downpour, they put down boards to protect the grass from tracks of the digger and dumper. I am chuffed to bits with the work done and it has also increased the value of my property as this work will last for years. I couldn't recommend them highly enough".

OUR SEPTIC TANK FAILED

Avocet installed a sewage treatment at our property. The project was not straightforward and more issues were encountered during the installation. The team overcame these obstacles with practical, sensible solutions (and with patience & good humour.) At all times, the garden was protected ensuring a full recovery. We would certainly use David and the team in the future and would not hesitate to recommend their workmanship. We wish them every success in the future.

OUR GADREN WAS FLoODED

We purchased our home in an area without mains drainage and naively assumed we had nothing to worry about. During our first winter, our garden was waterlogged and waste water from our bio-digester was seeping to the surface. Avocet surveyed our land, and uncovered an antiquated system of collapsed pipework and an old soakaways. They installed a network of land drains in our garden and laid new pipework to bypass the failed infrastructure. We were concerned about the work causing root damage to nearby beech trees, but we needn't have worried, Avocet were exceptionally careful to minimise their impact and left the garden as they found it. Excellent work Dave and Dave!
